Since 1830 this plot of land we call the Tincher Heritage Farm has been owned
by a member of the same family. As a descendent of the family and living on this
land it is a goal to continue the farming tradition. On this plot of land transferred from family member to family member, from generation to generation has been grain crops, dairy cattle, beef  cattle, hogs, horses and now goats and hay.

We are Joe and Kimbra Smith and we live on Tincher Heritage Farm located southwest of Indianapolis, Indiana in beautiful Morgan County.

The name of our farm, Tincher Heritage Farm, is in honor of generations of Tincher linage that have lived and farmed the land we live on. Kimbra is the fifth generation to live on the farm.

Although we have lived on the farm land since 1998 we only began our heard in 2011. Our goal is to produce high quality meat  goats for market, seedstock,  and show (especially 4-H).

Joe and Kimbra have a daughter, Mary, and are both licensed auctioneers, drive school buses for the Monroe-Gregg School District and work the farm.

Kimbra received her Goat Producer Certification from Langston University in 2010, FAMACHA certification in 2011, Fecal Egg Count training in 2011 and plans to continue her education with goats.

Joe, being the construction and maintenance department on the farm, has received his FAMACHA certification in 2011 and plans to continue his education as soon as the construction and maintenance is all done!
